Nazir Ogburn
I started MOHR in Philadelphia in 2025 to make the kind of objects a family keeps.
Legacy
I keep my family's history. The things that outlast a family are rarely the expensive ones. They're the pieces built well enough to be used every day and handed down. That's what MOHR makes: things that are kept, not replaced.
Philadelphia
MOHR started in Philadelphia, a city of stone steps, iron railings and rowhome doors that have outlived everyone who first opened them. That's the standard every piece is held to.
Made by hand
I make every part of it myself: printing the masters, making the molds, casting, sealing and finishing. Each piece is made in small batches and checked by hand before it leaves.
The seal
The Moorhead is MOHR's seal. It appears the same way on everything we make, and always where a maker's mark belongs: on the back of the candle, under a lid, on a backplate.
